John spent most of his 21 year NFL career as a Carolina Panther. Despite the pressures of the NFL, he’s had a loving marriage for 26 years. He and his wife have raised four wonderful children. John will speak to the importance of fatherhood, how he sets priorities and balances his life.

Kenneth honed dynamic leadership skills over a 27-year career. He is currently serves as SVP-Corporate Operational Risk Manager. He is a devoted husband, father and member of Be There Dad at Piedmont IB Middle School in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Morton will speak about “the power of presence.”

Kay has been an English teacher in a high poverty high school for over 30 years. She sees the impact of parental engagement on the personal and academic success of her students. A regular columnist for The Charlotte Observer and author of two books, she will address the need for community involvement in the schools.
