Next Tuesday, I will be conducting one of our regularly scheduled Be There Dad® workshops at The Rankin Institute. This workshop is open to the public and free of charge. The only obligation is that you register in advance. You can read more about the workshop and register on the link below.
This is our third year doing workshops at The Rankin Institute and our past experience tells us we will have some lively interaction and learning when the dads share their thoughts and experiences with each other. Dads from many different schools attend. If you are a dad or a DLP [dad like person] we would love for you to join us. Or, if you know someone else who might enjoy the workshop, please forward this note to them.

Be There Dad: Part Two
How Much Time Can You Spare?
Presented by Jeff Usher, this two-part parenting series will help fathers recognize the power of presence in their children’s lives. Mr. Usher will encourage fathers to stay engaged in the lives of their children despite the many pressures that come with careers, obligations and responsibilities of the “real world”.
The Be There Dad program recently received the North Carolina PTA Oak Leaf Award. This award was given in recognition of the strong partnership Be There Dad has established with the North Carolina PTA to positively affect male engagement in the education and lives of children throughout our state.
In Part Two, Mr. Usher will focus on setting priorities and expectations so you can be present for your kids. You are welcome to attend even if you missed Part One! This workshop is free and open to the public. To register, click HERE.
